Posted in Kitchen Furniture | Comments Off

The Japanese are very fond of minimalism, ergonomics and simple things are known throughout the world. This is a perfect example of how the Japanese designer offers to solve the problem of storage of knives. Keiji Ashizawa has created a small box, which gave the name of the Hirosaki Knife Box.

This piece of kitchen furniture is made for an interesting principle. To explain with words is quite difficult, so I look at the photos after the text. You move after one of the other layers of the box until you find what you need. A convenient way to keep the knives, and most importantly – safe. Hirosaki Knife Box is Paulownia, a wood native to Asia, and the dovetail-shaped connecting rods are made of apple trees Hirosaki.
