The Senescent Desk by Love Hultén

Designer based in Sweden Love Hultén has created The senescent Desk, an office furniture whose design concept is “maintenance-free natural change, a history of interaction, time and materials”. The designer wants the office to interact with itself and the world around it.

To accomplish this concept, the office table is equipped with a tank of water, misters, two fans, the growth substrate, plants and a digital clock. The office desk is made of untreated wood that changes over time due to its interaction with the environment and with the growth of vegetation.
