Osso Wooden Chair by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Mattiazzi
French designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec presented an interesting chair named Osso, which will be produced by Italian furniture factory Mattiazzi. Its novelty lies in the fact that it is folding. All you see is done not just because the original design.
All parts of chair are manufactured from oak, maple or ash sourced close to Mattiazzi’s factory. And it is no accident that the development of French designers liked the Mattiazzi factory, who works in the rhythm of the old Italian small family companies, producing elite and expensive furniture and behold such simple but original objects. The plates of the seat and backrest are processed under the standard of woodworking. They are mounted special clamps such as the panels or laminate flooring.
Thus, this wooden chair easily and quickly folds out and this process can be performed repeatedly without damage to the object itself. Moreover, developers ensure that despite the tenderness of the outer structure, the chair is received sufficiently strong and healthy after assembly. First of all wooden parts are processed from oak or birch. Second is using healthy holders for krepene in Norway. Third, the very geometry of the structure was carefully checked and were tested in the development stages of many intermediate solutions to be used at optimum.
The type and functional properties of the Osso chair determine the area of its use-of the house for picnics (in the strip is getting enough compact package). Options for use are much more that the chair looks very nice. At the request of ordered chairs to be manufactured in different color options.
