Modern Storage Unit: Barcode Cabinet by Enis Aldallal

Syrian-Born Designer Enis Aldallal has created a storage unit. This Barcode Cabinet was designed and built to read as a piece of sculpture, which interact with light through different densities of shade and space dedicated to maintaining not only books but also other sculptural elements. Storage space was lit by sculptural objects Lasercut, barcode-like, plywood (1/4″) deep.

Architecturally, the rectangle of the formation of this unit is based entirely on the golden section, provided that the deep geometric aspects. Technically, the wood used to build this piece of pine wood with careful attention glue or metal for use in this cabinet. This was possible through a wooden wood joints only, using dovetail connections to this unit sustainable credit, ‘the strongest physical appearance, touch, and light and modern look.
