The logo of FutureBrand for the “ICC Cricket World Cup 2015”. It is not very popular here, but cricket is a sport that has many fans, especially in countries that have historically had to deal with the United Kingdom during the colonial period. FutureBrand designed the logo of the 2015 edition of ICC Cricket World Cup, a sporting event that will be hosted in New Zealand and Australia.
The brand identity was developed relationships with the indigenous cultures of the two countries. The selected motifs are:
Maori Tohora symbolizing toughness, pride and tribal culture.
Aboriginal journey tracks symbolising spirit of the land.
Balarinji based the motifs on interpretations of FutureBrand’s creative brief signifying toughness, glory, resilience, connection and belonging.
