With high, free and secure location in the beautiful highway in Assen, Netherlands, you will find this amazingly cool and unique districts head office named Rijkswaterstaat with its own class A level in the Greencalc calculation method and could also be classified as a BREEAM Excellent building, thanks to its use of the Thermal Energy Storage, solar panels on the roof and the use of fsc certified wood.

The building has good features such as a solid concrete and asphalt south facade and a patterned timber north facade. The technical facilities of this office block are integrated into the prefabricated wooden walls and floors.

The office building is designed by Rotterdam studio 24H architecture and this is a sustainable building out of the ordinary, for those looking for their own identity in the name of the Rijkswaterstaat.
