A good initiative that we see in this New Lighting Collection by Natuzzi called Apollo and Daphne lamps. This is a pair of lamps-sculptures created by the Italian sculptor & artist Giacomo Benevelli, presented at the latest edition of the Milan International Design Fair (Salone del Mobile di Milano).
Inspired by the famous mythological story narrated by Ovid, Giacomo Benevelli’s lamps – sculptures are characterized by two free forms establishing an intense dialogue weaving itself among them. They fit very well together but also works in opposite directions.
Available in white or coffee of color options while the surface of the lamp is available in two versions, shiny or matte finish. A LED sources let you to enjoy a soft and pleasant light from the top of the lamp.
In 2011, for the third consecutive year, Natuzzi presents its “Open Art Project” with the occassion to open up and make art accessible to everyone and now Natuzzi makes these Apollo and Daphne lamps available world-wide at Natuzzi’s Official showrooms and stores.-via-
